What does Hidravision do? Do I have to install it? And what I gain with the control panel? I have a Hercules 9800 pro, my first ATI card.

Hydravision is ATI's multi-monitor support software. If you don't have 2 displays you don't need it.

a ***** driver again I will give up my Radeon 8500LE once GeforceFX 5900 is out. And I swear no more ATI in my life (except Matrox & Nvidia shut down)
